Praise the Lord,
We arrived in Liberia today (Monday) at 5:00 pm. The flight from Brussels to Liberia was only 1 / 3 full so I was able to get a whole row to myself and stretch out and sleep. I slept the entire flight except for a few minutes when Bro Garza woke me up so I could eat. (I told him not to let me sleep through lunch!) General Muhamed was there to help get our luggage and get us to Bishop Stewart. I was so good to see Bishop Stewart and his warm smile. Bro Kamara the pastor of Good Samaritan Pentecostal church traveled with him to greet Bro Garza and myself upon arrival. Liberia is in the final days of what they consider their rainy season, where it rains significantly almost every day. The weather is cooler than normal but still real humid. After a 40 minute drive we were at the Stewarts where we were greeted by Sis. Stewart and a great meal!! Bro. Benda joined us about half way through and we sat around a talked for some time. Tuesday is a free day for us so the Bishop told us to sleep in and relax. Bishop Stewart informed us that there is a committee of delegates from Sierra Leon that are traveling to attend the men's conference. It will take them two days to travel from where there are to get to the conference site. Please pray for the safety of all the brethren that will be traveling (some a significant distance) to this conference.

Liberia Bound!
Here we GO!!!
Bro Garza (picture at right) and I will be leaving Sunday morning from Los Angeles at 9:45am. We fly to Chicago and then to Brussels where we have a 4 hour lay over. After 23 hours of travel we will arrive in Liberia, Africa at 4:50pm. We are confident that God is going to do many great things during our time there. So many of you have said that you will be, or already are praying and even fasting for this trip!! Thank you so much for making a difference in the lives of countless Liberians. When God moves and changes the hearts of men it will change the lives of their family, which in turn will change the church and ultimately the nation!

Deceitfulness of Man's Logic
Proverbs 3:5-7:
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
6 Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.
7 Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom.
Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil.
It never ceases to amaze me how people have the ability to rationalize their choices and carnal desires in life as somehow being aligned with God's will. The individuals who in times of trial cry out to God to be with them and guide them through their present situation, and when God answers and it's not the answer they were looking for they keep praying for God's will. I've heard basketball players say "Put up, or Shut up!" stop talking and start showing us what you can really do. It's the challenge to go from talk to walk, from dream to reality. To be quite honest and blunt, some Christians need to stop praying about the situation and start OBEYING! You can pray yourself into receiving the answer you want and say that God spoke to you. No, you spoke to you! God's written Word holds the answers that we are looking for. How many of us know Proverbs 3:5 and have held on to it dearly in times of need, yet don't know verses 6 and 7. 6 "Seek his will in all you do,and he will show you which path to take. 7 Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. When we trust, we will seek,
When we seek we will find His will,
